About the position

The HVACR Service Technician role at ConServ Building Services involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. The position requires a strong focus on customer service and technical expertise, ensuring efficient operation of equipment while adhering to safety standards. Technicians will work with various refrigeration equipment and systems, providing essential support to clients across multiple states.

Responsibilities

• Service commercial refrigeration equipment and systems including walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment.
• Test lines, components, and connections for leaks.
• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
• Discuss heating or cooling system malfunctions with users to isolate problems.
• Repair or service HVAC systems to improve efficiency by changing filters and cleaning coils.
• Install, connect, or adjust thermostats, humidistats, or timers.
• Communicate with customers regarding the status of repairs or maintenance needed on equipment.
• Order and install replacement parts as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50lbs and climb a ladder.
• Universal EPA Certification.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Experience in a commercial HVAC setting, refrigeration equipment, and preventative maintenance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with ice machines and hot foods equipment.
• Ability to provide top-quality customer service.
