About the position

The Hardware Analysis Tool Support Specialist at RTX Corporation is responsible for managing and enhancing hardware analysis, measurement, and test applications. This role focuses on supporting internal engineering customers by developing, integrating, and sustaining tools that improve productivity and effectiveness within the organization. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to streamline user experiences and ensure that engineering needs are met effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage various tool applications through an administrative role.
  • Support configuration, customizations, and upgrades of various tools.
  • Identify new tool capabilities and plan development projects.
  • Design, test, implement, document and support technical application solutions for various tools.
  • Work with SW developers to ensure scripts/code meet user requirements (enhancements/updates/etc.).
  • Critically analyze functional specifications for options, feasibility and sustainability.
  • Interface with application suppliers.
  • Create/update system test cases; conduct unit & integration testing to ensure the defined functionality meets requirements.
  • Lead the development and configuration of workflows and supporting applications.
  • Establish and maintain effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • May interact with internal customers on technical issues which require subject matter expert support. Drive issues to closure.
  • Meet schedule deadlines and remain within budget.
  • Ability to interact with customers and correctly interpret their needs and requirements.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Hardware Analysis, Measurement, and Test tools.
  • Must also be willing and able to travel (domestic and international) (minimum 10% domestically).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with ANSYS tool suite, Flotherm, and LabVIEW.
  • Experience with design tool administration.
  • Work management within an Agile framework, Product Owner role specifically.
  • Either possess, or be able to obtain, a security clearance.
