About the position

The HW Test Engineer at Amazon Robotics is responsible for developing and executing test strategies and plans to ensure the verification and validation of new technologies and products. This role involves collaboration with various engineering teams to enhance the understanding of robotics and improve customer order fulfillment processes.

Responsibilities

• Create program level test strategies and test plans for developmental tests.
• Conduct subsystem verification tests and complete system verification and validation tests.
• Collaborate with hardware development engineers and technical operations to define and execute verification tests.
• Report on verification and validation tests to support new technology and product development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to write thorough test plans that verify product requirements or validate engineering analysis.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the design of complex mechanical products and equipment at volume.
• 3+ years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
