About the position

Amazon Robotics is seeking a motivated and hands-on Test Engineer to join the hardware test engineering team. This role involves creating program-level test strategies, test plans, and methods for various tests to support new technology and product development programs. The test engineer will collaborate with hardware development engineers and other teams to define, execute, and report on verification and validation tests, contributing to the advancement of robotics and enhancing customer order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with program teams and development engineering to create test strategies to inform development and verify requirements.
• Create test plans and methods for developmental tests, subsystem verification tests, and complete system verification and validation tests.
• Define, execute, and report on verification and validation tests in collaboration with hardware development engineers and technical operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to write thorough test plans that verify product requirements or validate engineering analysis.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the design of complex mechanical products and equipment at volume.
• 3+ years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
