About the position

The Hybrid Bookkeeper position at Express Employment Professionals involves assisting with accounting and billing tasks, with a focus on Accounts Payable and Receivables. Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of Accounts Payable and Receivables.
  • Process payroll, handle vendor payments, and reconcile credit card transactions.
  • Maintain financial records, including income tracking, donation records, and tax documentation.
  • Follow standard procedures for internal controls, and recommend improvements.
  • Assist with tax filings, audits, and other related tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred (or 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience).
  • Experience with nonprofit or housing development accounting is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, Sage Intact, Microsoft Office, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Passion for affordable housing development and dedication to housing solutions for at-risk populations.
