Responsibilities

• Creates, updates, and revises sketches, working drawings, and contract documents using CAD software or manual drafting methods.
• Prepares 2D and 3D models based on project requirements.
• Completes assignments utilizing information provided by project engineering, architectural, or technical services staff under supervision.
• Prepares documentation to support design drawings.
• Prepares bills of material and schedules, assisting engineering personnel with formal drawing transmittals and construction issues.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend detailed customer requirements, data sheets, and supplier specifications.
• Familiarity with drafting techniques and engineering concepts and terminology.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
