About the position

Soliant Education is seeking a skilled and dedicated Educational Diagnostician for a flexible position near Austin, TX. This role offers a unique opportunity to work a four-day week with Fridays off, along with the option for hybrid work. The position is designed for those looking to make a meaningful impact on student success while enjoying schedule flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, and social-emotional needs, guiding individualized educational planning.
• Work closely with special education teams to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans based on assessment results.
• Partner with teachers, administrators, and parents to create tailored interventions and provide insights that support each student's unique learning needs.
• Regularly assess and document student progress, adapting assessment strategies as necessary to ensure continuous student growth.
• Provide diagnostic support across a range of age groups and needs, ensuring students have the tools and support to succeed.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Educational Diagnostics, Special Education, or related field.
• Valid Texas Diagnostician certification.
• Minimum 1+ years Educational Diagnostician experience required.
• Experience in school-based evaluations and assessments.
• Strong understanding of IEP and 504 Plan development.
• Excellent communication and organization skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
