The Oracle ERP Financial System Analyst with a focus on the General Ledger is responsible for the administration, support, and enhancement of the Oracle ERP Financial system, specifically within the General Ledger module. This role collaborates closely with the Finance and IT teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, efficient system operation, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The analyst will play a critical role in configuring the General Ledger, troubleshooting issues, and driving process improvements. Key responsibilities include overseeing the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of the Oracle ERP General Ledger module, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The analyst will manage the overall functionality of the Oracle ERP Financial system, including user access, data integrity, and system performance monitoring. They will provide specialized support for General Ledger-related issues, troubleshoot problems, and coordinate with Oracle support as needed. Additionally, the analyst will customize the General Ledger module to meet business needs, including setting up account structures, journal entries, and financial close processes. They will develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards related to the General Ledger, ensuring they meet the needs of various stakeholders. The role also involves identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvements within the General Ledger and related financial processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Training sessions for users on the General Ledger module will be conducted, along with the creation of detailed documentation of system processes, configurations, and updates. The analyst will ensure the General Ledger module complies with financial regulations and internal security policies, support audit processes, and maintain data privacy standards.
