Be part of an exciting team in helping the Army modernize software development to digitally transform mission critical solutions. As a full stack software engineer, you'll be assisting with realizing the Army Software Directive by guiding development teams to align to modern software development practices through a combination of code/design reviews, as well as hands-on implementation. Apply Lean, Agile, DevSecOps practices to improve software delivery speed, security and stability. Work in a highly-collaborative, diverse, mission-focused team environment. Opportunity to apply a variety of emerging technologies, languages, and frameworks. This role is hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with popular languages and frameworks such as Java, Python, NodeJS, Django, and Spring
- 3+ years working experience on MVC, JDBC, and RESTful web services.
- 2+ years with front end framework such as React or Angular
- 3+ years with code versioning tools, such as Git and build tools such as Maven.
- 2+ years experience with database technology (relational or non-relational) such as MySQL, Mongo, or DynamoDB.
- 2+ years of experience developing in an agile environment with automated CI/CD
Nice-to-haves
- Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of cloud and cloud technologies
- Experience with containers
- Experience in communicating and collaborating with senior technical leaders
