About the position

The Inside Sales Representative at Johnson Controls is responsible for engaging with customers to understand their needs and promote the company's value proposition. This role involves qualifying leads from various campaigns, booking meetings for frontline sales counterparts, and maintaining a sales pipeline. Responsibilities

• Listen to understand customer needs and identify opportunities.
• Qualify leads from campaigns and secure meetings for sales counterparts.
• Follow up with frontline sales counterparts after meetings and throughout the sales cycle.
• Build and maintain a sales pipeline through effective relationship management.
• Interact daily with customers to offer appropriate solutions.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of inside sales, telemarketing, or customer interaction experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet software, and email.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• High level of integrity and resilient temperament.

Nice-to-haves

• 2-4 years of inside sales or telemarketing experience at a product company.
• Track record of over-achieving sales goals.
• Strong phone presence with experience making 45-60 calls per day.
• Experience working with a CRM database.
• Ability to rapidly learn Johnson Controls' product lines.
