As a Hybrid Inside Sales Business Development Representative at Johnson Controls, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and fostering customer relationships. You will be responsible for reaching out to potential leads through phone and email, utilizing company-provided tools to engage with customers effectively. By understanding customer needs and recognizing opportunities, you will recommend solutions that align with the Johnson Controls value proposition, particularly to building owners, facilities, and IT leaders. In this role, you will be expected to book qualified meetings for your frontline sales counterpart, ensuring that you maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients. Daily interactions with customers will allow you to identify appropriate solutions and facilitate the hand-off of booked meetings to the relevant sales representatives. Following up after meetings and throughout the sales cycle will be essential to ensure a seamless transition and to nurture relationships with both customers and sales teams.
