Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sr Java Developer to join a government consulting firm for a hybrid opportunity. This Java Developer will work on cutting-edge projects, leveraging skills in both front-end and back-end development.
Develop and maintain web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
Design and implement user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as Angular or React.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Write efficient, testable, and reusable code for both front-end and back-end components.
Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers.
Troubleshoot and debug applications, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
At least 8 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Java Developer with Java development.
Active Secret Clearance (requirement).
Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks such as Spring Boot.
Experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
