As a Process/Cost Engineer at our leading manufacturing company located in Anaheim, CA, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity and efficiency of our projects. This position is crucial for meticulously analyzing costs, implementing strategies to optimize expenditures, and maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and quality. You will be responsible for overseeing cost points ranging from 50 to 150 per project, utilizing your manufacturing experience to ensure precision in every measurement and movement of the 1000+ parts involved in our operations. Your role will require you to demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge to accurately assess costs and streamline processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cost analysis into project planning and execution, leveraging your expertise in financial analysis tools such as Oracle and JD Edwards to enhance financial reporting and analysis capabilities. Additionally, you will conduct in-depth analysis of large datasets, often comprising up to 1,000 line items, to identify trends and insights that can drive efficiency and cost savings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manufacturing, exceptional attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel, including macro development and VBA programming. You will need to adapt to evolving project requirements and priorities, maintaining flexibility and agility in a dynamic work environment. After a few months of in-office training, this position will transition into a hybrid role, requiring only 1-2 days in the office per week.
