The Medicaid Health Systems Administrator 1 position at the State of Ohio involves supervising Customer Service Managers responsible for Medicaid eligibility determinations and processing for Ohio's youth in custody. The ideal candidate will have experience in Medicaid eligibility determination and strong data management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise two Customer Service Managers and their teams responsible for Medicaid eligibility determinations.
• Ensure timely and accurate eligibility determinations are made confidentially.
• Support teams in meeting processing goals including daily, weekly, and monthly timelines.
• Maintain frequent communication with team members, managers, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Completion of graduate core program in business, management, public administration, public health, health administration, social or behavioral science, or public finance.
• 12 months of experience in health services program delivery or project management.
• Current and valid RN license issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing (if overseeing clinical appropriateness of services).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management.
