This full-time hybrid position at Elder Love USA, Inc. combines caregiving responsibilities with general office tasks. The role primarily involves serving as a personal care attendant for seniors while also assisting with administrative duties in the office. The caregiver will be on call to address urgent client needs and provide support when other caregivers are unavailable. This position requires driving within the Coachella Valley and managing various tasks related to client care and office administration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a personal care attendant/caregiver for seniors.
• Assist with administrative tasks in the office when not providing care.
• Respond to urgent client needs and fill in for other caregivers as required.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals for clients.
• Report changes in clients' conditions and needs.
• Complete appropriate records related to client care.
• Help clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and ambulation.
• Provide medication reminders and transportation for clients to appointments and errands.
• Answer phones and provide information to staff and clients in the office.
• Create and maintain client and caregiver files.
• Manage caregiver and client calendars and adjust shifts as necessary.

Requirements

• Experience in senior care or caregiving.
• Ability to use the personal care app 'WellSky' for task management and time tracking.
• Reliable transportation for driving within the Coachella Valley.
• Must pass a LiveScan background and fingerprint check.
• Registration with the State of California as a Home Care Aide.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with administrative tasks in an office setting.
• Familiarity with electronic verification systems (EVV).
