About The Position
As the Vice President of Product at our Automotive SaaS software company, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of our product portfolio. This hybrid remote position requires candidates to be local to the South Los Angeles County area, as you will need to be in the office at least two days per week. Your primary responsibility will be to drive innovation and ensure that our product offerings align with our overarching business goals. You will be tasked with creating and communicating an abstracted model of the automotive industry, identifying innovations from other sectors, and applying these insights to differentiate our roadmap from key competitors. In this strategic leadership role, you will leverage your expertise in product strategy, product management, and process improvement to guide your team effectively. You will also need a strong understanding of software engineering principles and a deep knowledge of the automotive industry and its key players. Your passion for mentoring and leading teams will be essential as you establish and promote our product design process and philosophy, ensuring that we continue to build competitive differentiation in the market. This position requires a dynamic and results-driven professional who is committed to identifying, developing, and delivering products that exceed customer expectations in the automotive technology space. You will be responsible for leading a team of 12-13 members, focusing on performance measurement and optimization, and managing stakeholder relationships to ensure the success of our product initiatives.
