About the position

The Senior Practice Manager is a seasoned healthcare administrative professional responsible for the effective management of assigned facilities. This role involves deploying clinical providers, implementing corporate policies, and acting as the primary liaison with practice providers, clinical leadership, and clients. The position requires a strong background in operations, accounting, and payroll within the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

  • Understand hospital contractual requirements (quality, financial, satisfaction) and educate providers appropriately.
  • Process all provider contractual requirements for existing providers.
  • Coordinate employment contract amendments or changes in provider staffing and compensation.
  • Generate proper Personnel Action Forms (PAFs) for bonuses, stipends, and moving expenses.
  • Prepare detailed financial analytics related to labor cost management and revenue cycle management.
  • Act as liaison with Accounting and Finance to resolve financial-related practice and budget issues.
  • Monitor pay for performance incentives.
  • Interface with Corporate resources including Central Services, Human Resources, Revenue Cycle Management, and Payroll.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for each assigned facility.
  • Manage projects related to the specialty's strategic objectives with limited oversight.
  • Communicate activities, events, and concerns to responsible parties.
  • Keep upper management informed of key happenings and events.
  • Abide by the company's code of conduct, ethics statements, and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in healthcare/business administration or related field from a four-year college or university required.
  • Master's Degree strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years' experience in the healthcare industry including direct interfacing with physicians and clinical providers.
  • Advanced Excel experience required.
  • Operations/Accounting/Payroll experience required.
