About the position

As a Software Developer at ManTech International Corporation, you will play a crucial role in supporting our national security initiatives through innovative software solutions. You will be responsible for analyzing user requirements and envisioning system features and functionality, which will involve designing and developing user interfaces that meet the needs of our clients. Your role will also include determining design methodologies, completing programming tasks, and conducting thorough testing to ensure the quality and reliability of the software developed. In addition to software development, you will oversee the creation of hybrid software, web, and hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance. This includes integrating various network operating systems, application programs, and hardware devices to create a cohesive and functional system. You will manage the entire development cycle associated with producing resilient software, hardware, and web applications, which encompasses specification, design, coding, testing, and ongoing maintenance. Furthermore, you will be tasked with designing, developing, supporting, and maintaining the organization's systems infrastructure, ensuring that both hardware and software implementations are efficient and effective. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders. You will frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations and exchanging accurate information in various situations. Your ability to remain stationary for extended periods and operate office productivity machinery will be essential in fulfilling your responsibilities effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing user requirements and envisioning system features and functionality.

Requirements

  • One of the following certifications is required: Security+, CCNA-Security, GICSP or equivalent DoD 8570.01 IAT-2 certification.
  • Bachelor's degree with 0 years of experience, or an Associate's degree with 4 years of experience, or a High School diploma with 6 years of experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3 - 7 years of software development experience.
  • Experience with C# programming language.
  • Experience with Graphical User Interface (GUI) development.
  • Basic knowledge of ServiceNow.
