Rollout Systems is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer with expertise in React and AWS to join our team in support of a government contract for the Naval Air Systems Command. This is a full-time hybrid position based in Patuxent River, MD, where candidates must reside within 90 miles of the work site. The role requires a strong focus on developing software applications and systems using a modern tech stack, including React and Python. The successful candidate will be responsible for packaging data into microservices and implementing API management tools to facilitate data transfer. Additionally, the role involves modernizing legacy applications within an AWS cloud environment and utilizing GitLab for source control and CI/CD deployment processes. The position demands a proactive approach to software development, with responsibilities including designing, developing, and deploying both relational and multidimensional databases. Unit testing will be performed using Python and/or React, ensuring the quality and functionality of the applications developed. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, as daily communications and availability are imperative for success. Initial onboarding may require multiple days on-site at NAS Patuxent River, MD, so candidates must have their own transportation.
