About the position

The Senior UI/UX Designer will play a crucial role in the design and development of user experiences for medical devices within the healthcare domain. This position requires a blend of creativity and technical expertise to effectively communicate design concepts and lead user experience initiatives for new product development.

Responsibilities

• Utilize design tools such as Figma, Principal, and Miro to create user-centered designs.
• Visually communicate and present design vision, research needs, concepts, and detailed designs both verbally and visually.
• Lead user experience initiatives for new product development, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and feedback throughout the design process.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in UX Design or a related design field, or equivalent experience or certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a UX Design role.
• At least 2 years of experience in the medical device or related industry is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience as a User Experience lead for new product development.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with additional design tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards related to medical devices.
