About the position
As a Hybrid Tax Manager at our esteemed South Florida-based public accounting firm, you will oversee all tax-related decisions and activities, ensuring compliance with the latest tax laws. This role is crucial for identifying strategic opportunities to optimize tax positions for our diverse clientele, both domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough tax research to inform strategic decisions
- Prepare and review a variety of tax returns
- Identify and implement opportunities to minimize the effective tax rate
- Oversee compliance for non-income tax obligations
- Prepare for and lead tax audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of experience in a professional public CPA firm
- Strong communication and analytical skills, with a focus on detail
- Active CPA certification
- Proven management experience, with the ability to lead and develop a team
