About the position

The Hybrid Video Editor position involves creating and editing training videos and multimedia applications for the JSF Training program at Eglin AFB, FL. The role requires both creative and technical skills to visually optimize subjects and tell compelling stories for various audiences. Candidates must be fully vaccinated and live close to the Eglin AFB site, as on-site video shooting is a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Develops and edits training videos and multimedia applications.
• Creates engaging videos and images using DSLR cameras, studio lighting, audio recording equipment, and graphical images.
• Uses photographic, video graphic, film, and/or multimedia equipment to capture images.
• Applies creative and technical skills to tell stories for internal or external audiences.
• Chooses the appropriate medium and sets up equipment for video production.
• Writes scripts, produces, selects music and effects, and performs video editing.
• Coordinates with vendors and may research new or related technologies.
• Provides on-site support for the JSF Training program and customers in Eglin, FL.

Requirements

• Experience with video editing software, specifically Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (e.g., Captivate, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Audition, Animate, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Experience shooting and editing videos is required.
• Proven artistic and video design skills with strong attention to detail/aesthetics.
• Portfolio or examples of work preferred.
