About the position

At AECOM, we are committed to providing access to clean water, enabling communities to thrive and ecosystems to flourish. As a global leader in infrastructure consulting, we are at the forefront of significant water projects, with over 6,000 of the industry's best minds driving innovation and technical excellence. We are seeking a Dam Engineering Project Manager/Technical Lead with expertise in Hydrology and Hydraulics to play a key role in our growing dedicated Dams Engineering practice in the U.S. East Region. The successful candidate will be an experienced engineer who supports and grows our dams practice in the core discipline of Hydrologic and Hydraulic engineering. This position will involve supporting a variety of dam engineering analysis and design projects across the region. In this role, you will lead the technical execution of projects, which includes inspection, analysis, design, construction observation, and regulatory compliance activities associated with various dams, spillways, and other appurtenant hydraulic structures. You will conduct hydrologic analyses, hydraulic structure modeling, dam breach analyses, and support other dam engineering activities such as visual inspections and emergency action planning. Additionally, you will prepare technical reports, graphics, and engage with AECOM's Quality Management System by performing detailed reviews of technical deliverables prepared by others.
