About the position

The Hydrostatic QC Tester position at LaunchNW involves ensuring that parts and products manufactured internally and received from vendors meet customer specifications. This role is crucial in maintaining quality standards in a company that specializes in custom solutions for the semiconductor, aerospace, and medical industries. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality control and be eager to expand their skills in a high-tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products delivered by Production to QC staging area for conformance with drawings, instructions, and specifications.
• Inspect products delivered by the receiving department according to drawings and specifications.
• Follow First Article guidelines as appropriate.
• Perform inspections using CMM tools.
• Conduct data entry and documentation related to inspections.
• Handle, clean, and engrave parts as required before sending products to the shipping department.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inspection of machined parts.
• Proven track record in ensuring inspected parts, components, or assemblies meet specified requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize measurement equipment and devices necessary for product verification.
• Experience with height gauges, gage pins, micrometers, digital/dial calipers, CMM, dial indicators, and optical comparators.

Benefits

• Full-time position with a pay range of $23.00 - $26.00 per hour.
• 40 hours expected per week with a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday.
