Responsibilities

• Assist hygienists with patient care, including preparing patients for cleanings and procedures.
• Sterilize, clean, and prepare instruments and treatment rooms according to OSHA and CDC guidelines.
• Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
• Maintain patient records by accurately documenting procedures and treatment notes in dental software.
• Assist with scheduling, follow-ups, and maintaining an organized workflow.
• Ensure an excellent patient experience by creating a warm, welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with the dental team to maintain efficient and effective operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a dental or medical setting is preferred.
• Current certification in radiology (if applicable).
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and sterilization techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
