Responsibilities

• Perform secret shopper observations of hand hygiene and PPE compliance.
• Conduct audits and data collection as needed for the Infection Prevention Department.
• Answer and refer phone calls appropriately.
• Organize supplies and records, and prepare necessary documentation.
• Deliver, pick-up, sort, or distribute mail as required.
• Assist with data analysis and reporting to Infection Prevention Committees.
• Triage questions or concerns to the Infection Preventionist for follow-up.

Requirements

• Enrolled in high school or graduated, at least 16 years of age.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to arrive on time as scheduled and notify supervisors of absences.
• Maintain a professional appearance according to department dress code.
• Initiative to work independently with minimal direction.
• Effective communication of questions, concerns, and suggestions to supervisors.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Adhere to standard procedures and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.
• Understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
