About the position

The Hyperion Developer III position is a long-term contract role based in Houston, Texas, focused on leveraging extensive technical expertise in the Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management suite. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing EPM Cloud products, ensuring high-quality service delivery to business users, and developing custom integrations to enhance financial reporting and planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management suite of products.
• Develop custom integrations using EPM Data Integration and EPM Automate.
• Write and create calculation scripts, business rules, and financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with IT security concepts and assist in security design and implementation.
• Provide high-quality service and support to business users.
• Analyze financial statements and provide insights on consolidation methods.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on technical experience with Hyperion EPM suite of products and Smart View.
• 5+ years of implementation experience in EPM Cloud products.
• Strong understanding of financial statements including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud components such as Planning, FCC, EDM, and NR.
• Proficient in Oracle EPM technical skills including ASO, BSO, Calculation Scripts, and MDX.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and planning concepts.
• Experience with SQL Server database and SQL language is a plus.
• Hands-on knowledge of scripting languages such as Batch, Python, or PowerShell.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of IT Security concepts and experience in security design and implementation.
• Experience with Groovy Business Rules and Data Integration Pipeline.
• Familiarity with MS Office, particularly Excel at an expert level.
