About the position

The Hyperion Developer position involves participating in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of business applications, particularly focusing on Oracle EPM Cloud Applications. The role requires a high degree of independent judgment and skill, providing technical support for on-prem applications and an EPM cloud upgrade project. The successful candidate will work under minimal supervision and will be responsible for automating data administration tasks, supporting system integration, and providing end-user support for Hyperion applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions to improve planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and consolidation using Oracle EPM Cloud Applications.
• Automate data administration tasks using Python, Groovy, APIs, and EPM Automate.
• Perform system integration, performance, and user acceptance testing to drive efficiency in FP&A processes.
• Support on-prem systems during the migration to EPM Cloud.
• Provide system administration for Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) applications.
• Support end-user data load processes through FDMEE for Hyperion Planning and HFM applications.
• Assist with Month End closing processes, metadata updates, and report updates.

Requirements

• 10+ years hands-on technical experience with Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management suite of products, including Smart View.
• 5+ years of implementation experience in EPM Cloud products.
• Good understanding of Income statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and methods of consolidation.
• Highly skilled in Oracle EPM Cloud - Planning, Financial Consolidation and Close (FCC), Enterprise Data Management (EDM), and Narrative Reporting (NR).
• Strong technical skills on Oracle EPM components (ASO, BSO, Calculation Scripts, Business Rules, Load Rules, MaxL, and MDX).
• Solid understanding of accounting, Long Range Planning, and budgeting concepts.
• Understanding of IT Security concepts (Access Controls, Change Management).
• Experience in security design and implementation is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL Server database and SQL language is a plus.
• Expertise in developing custom integrations using EPM Data Integration, Data Integration Pipeline, Groovy Business Rule, and EPM Automate.
• Hands-on knowledge of scripting (Batch/Python/PowerShell).
• Strong technical skills in writing HFM rules and financial studio reports.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Solid experience using MS Office with expert level in Excel.
