About the position

The Hyperscale Project Coordinator at E2 Optics is responsible for providing administrative oversight of project metrics, field personnel scheduling, assignments, and project quality controls. This role supports Project Managers and Project Controls team members in delivering regional site objectives, innovating project controls, and coordinating general project management tasks. The position emphasizes safety, adherence to company values, and exceptional customer service while engaging in data analysis and reporting to ensure project performance and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Follow safe work practices and company/client worksite policies.
  • Promote E2 Core Values to foster a family-centric culture.
  • Attend project controls meetings to ensure the latest project controls measures are implemented.
  • Support program/project managers and project controls with data collection, processing, and analysis.
  • Engage regional teams to identify areas for improvement in project controls.
  • Propose and assist in the development and implementation of efficient practices.
  • Create meeting plans, agendas, and record minutes while following up on deliverables.
  • Provide reporting support to create, analyze, and maintain project forecasts and performance metrics.
  • Provide site observation reports and project quality assurance.
  • Address issues with project stakeholders including P6 Master Scheduler and Project Managers.
  • Assist project managers with pre-project and post-project data analysis.
  • Follow up with project managers on proposed solutions for project performance health.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal teams and external contacts.
  • Directly address project controls issues with immediate resolution when necessary.
  • Assist project cost controls in tracking GMP expenses.
  • Support P6 Master Scheduler in hours/cost analysis and data quality controls.
  • Drive project controls, quality, and management innovations.
  • Perform activities related to vendor and distributor invoices and quality control issues.
  • Integrate remote and local project controls scheduling duties with weekly coordination.
  • Oversee collection and maintenance of required project documents.
  • Implement, review, and improve project quality controls standards.
  • Coordinate updated project documentation quality controls with project managers.
  • Assist in project planning and implementation of quality controls standardization.
  • Support project managers with day-to-day and weekly project data analysis.
  • Provide project controls training and development for personnel.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in telecommunications or construction industry.
  • 1-3 years of scheduling experience preferred (supervisory, management, or project level).
  • Demonstrated professional demeanor and communication skills with customers and team members.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles.
  • Proficient understanding of project controls.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with deadlines.
  • Adaptability to changing situations and workflows.
  • Strong administrative, organizational, coordination, and data analytical skills.
  • Strong computer application understanding, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
  • Competent understanding of Primavera P6 and project scheduling.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to coordinate with cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
