About The Position
The Hypobaric Technician supports the FAA's Civil Aerospace Medical Institute by observing research subjects in a hypobaric chamber, ensuring their safety, and providing situational knowledge during altitude research experiments. This part-time, on-call position involves monitoring subjects who simulate airplane passengers at pressure altitudes and requires a strong understanding of pressure-breathing systems and decompression science.
