About the position

The I&C Project Manager - Technical Proposal Factory role at Framatome involves managing moderately complex projects within the Instrumentation and Controls Business Unit. This position focuses on the overall success of projects, including scope, schedule, and budget management, from proposal development through contract closeout. The role emphasizes risk management and schedule analysis, requiring collaboration with various teams to ensure project alignment and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Support Risk and Schedule analysis and management of technical proposals.
  • Utilize approved Project Management tools to review, evaluate, and cost proposals based on Customer specifications.
  • Conduct thorough Risk assessment and mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules, including Float analysis and Time Risk Allowance (TRA).
  • Collaborate with Sales Manager, Bid Manager, Engineering, Quality, Testing, and Scheduling teams to ensure project alignment.
  • Prepare industrial scheme for proposals, integrated and resource-loaded schedules, and detailed technical and commercial risk assessments.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to seek approval through established procedure approval processes.
  • Serve as the primary interface between the project team, management, and potential customers.
  • Provide monthly reporting to North America I&C Management and Global I&C Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a related role, with 4 years of project-related experience required.
  • Experience managing customer-based projects with a magnitude above $5M.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills to develop a cohesive team environment.
  • Initiative to identify and assess potential risks while developing risk management plans.
  • Critical thinking skills to analyze and assess technical and commercial solutions.
  • Skilled in MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with project management tools, especially Primavera P6.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree in a related field.
  • Experience with Risk Management tools and Monte Carlo analysis.
