About the position

The site I&E Engineer position exists in order to optimize the utilization of physical assets and technology resources within the hiring unit; to ensure plant equipment reliability and add value by integrating plant assets, personnel and technology; and work with other maintenance craft departments and operations departments, while sustaining a safe and healthful working environment that meets environmental, health and safety regulatory and Company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide Maintenance support to the Unit, which will enable the Unit to achieve smooth operation, manufacture high-quality products and avoid unscheduled process interruptions.
• Utilize industries' best practices, benchmarking, and planning, abnormal analysis, and initiation and maintenance procedures.
• Communicate and work with Operations continuously to establish equipment criticality and providing standby equipment for critical equipment.
• Establish and maintain Historical files to correct diagnoses of equipment failures and performance of equipment maintenance.
• Provide support to Operations to ensure compliance with State and Federal Environmental Regulations in addition to Preventative Maintenance.
• Support technician with calibrations and or scheduling training, and any other activity assigned by the Unit Manager.
• Review abnormalities to improve the overall performance in the unit and work with other departments to enhance product quality and plant reliability.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of relative maintenance experience or other petrochemical plant experience.
• B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Engineering preferred.
