About the position

The I & E New Hire position at Graphic Packaging International involves the calibration, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of facility equipment. The role requires a strong background in electrical and pneumatic process controls, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines while maintaining operational reliability.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment.
• Install conduits and wiring, and perform lighting repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs and drives.
• Calibrate and repair instrumentation and control valves.
• Perform HVAC work as needed.
• Ensure full compliance with safety guidelines and policies.

Requirements

• Minimum high school graduate or GED equivalent.
• 4 years of electrical apprenticeship or helper experience with a Journeyman Electricians License.
• Journey skill level experience in instrumentation and/or industrial electrical systems.
• Industrial technology degree or certificate from an accredited college or trade school for instrument applicants.
• ISA CCST Certificate for instrument applicants.

Nice-to-haves

• Industry experience is a plus.
• Welding skills.
