About the position

Kforce's client, a leading financial institution, is seeking an 8-person scrum team of iOS/Android Mobile Developers. This role offers an opportunity for quick full-time employment, particularly for a Lead Developer who will be based in New York City and will mentor a team of mobile application and full-stack developers, promoting collaboration and growth within the team.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure and high-quality production code.
• Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus.
• Actively contribute to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Requirements

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience in one or more mobile application development environments (iOS, Android, etc.).
• Advanced proficiency in Swift, Kotlin, or Java.
• Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.).
• Practical cloud-native experience and mobile application deployment.
