About the position

We are seeking talented iOS/Android/Web developers to join our Seattle-based tech company on a part-time basis. The role involves developing complementary products, fixing bugs, and enhancing our secure communication application. This position offers compensation in the form of company shares after a one-year cliff, with additional revenue sharing once our financial goals are met.

Responsibilities

• Develop additional complementary products for our secure communication application.
• Fix bugs and improve existing features on Android/iOS and web platforms.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance application security and performance.
• Contribute at least 10 hours per week to the project, with flexibility in scheduling.

Requirements

• 3 years of general experience as a developer, with specific experience in secure chat applications.
• Experience with WebRTC, media servers, and APIs.
• 2 years of experience deploying complex web applications on cloud servers such as AWS, Google Cloud, or similar.
• Proficiency in back-end technologies like Node.js, ASP.NET, or Java.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong understanding of application security principles and practices, including OWASP Top Ten.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL database management.
• Familiarity with email protocols (IMAP, POP, SMTP).
• Knowledge of encryption technologies and secure coding practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience with collaboration apps like Slack, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams.
• Cloud certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Cloud Professional, etc.).
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
