About the position

As an iOS App Developer at OxeFit, Inc., you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's advanced strength training platforms by designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications. This position involves managing projects from concept to deployment, ensuring high standards of performance, reliability, and usability while collaborating with backend developers and designers to integrate APIs and data sources.

Responsibilities

• Code, test, implement, and assist in the design of in-house software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements.
• Manage projects from concept to deployment to ensure high standards of performance, reliability, and usability.
• Contribute ideas and help to refine use cases and acceptance criteria.
• Evaluate new libraries, frameworks, and services for suitability.
• Participate in agile development such as stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with backend developers and designers to integrate APIs and data sources for seamless communication between the iOS apps and servers.
• Continuously optimize application performance and responsiveness by keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends.
• Maintain critical problem-solving skills by troubleshooting and ideating innovative solutions to technical issues and/or bugs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in professional software development.
• Hands-on experience in Swift, Unit test automation, Agile, GitHub, and Objective-C.
• Solid understanding of Xcode and iOS SDK.
• Knowledge of iOS app architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP, etc.).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
• Understanding of iOS design patterns/coding conventions, Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, and App Store Review Guidelines.
