About the position

The iOS Application Developer for Health Software at Apple is a senior-level role focused on enhancing health features within iOS and watchOS. The position involves collaborating with specialists to expand the functionality of the Health app and contribute to Apple's broader health initiatives. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, possess strong technical skills, and have the opportunity to shape features that impact millions of users.

Responsibilities

• Implementing new features in the Health space
• Prototyping new ideas to help with initial feature definition
• Communicating ideas to the Apple design team and other cross-functional teams
• Participating in architecture and code reviews
• Building internal tools as needed to help ship high-quality software

Requirements

• iOS development experience
• Experience with both Objective C & Swift
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit
• Proven software architecture experience
• 3+ years industry experience

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to understand and break down large features into complete solutions
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with all levels of engineers and other teams
• BS in Computer Science
• Familiarity with Wellness or Medical concepts
