About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Architect/Developer to lead the end-to-end development of a new iOS mobile application designed for internal company use. This role requires someone who can manage the full software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment, while also providing technical mentorship to the development team. The position is based in Horsham, PA, and requires the candidate to be onsite 1-2 days per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in iOS development, with at least 5 years of experience, and will be responsible for overseeing the entire software development process, including requirement gathering, design, architecture, development, testing, and deployment of the new iOS mobile application. In this role, you will evaluate and develop software solutions, create and manage project timelines, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within scope. You will document development requirements and work closely with stakeholders across multiple organizational levels to gather requirements, provide demos, conduct testing, and ensure alignment with business goals. Additionally, you will provide technical mentorship to other developers on the team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment. This is a contract position with a duration of 4 months, extendable up to 24 months, and offers a pay range of $100 - $115 per hour. The client has the right to hire you as a permanent employee at any time during or after the end of the contract, and you may participate in the company group medical insurance plan.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in iOS development.
• Strong software development background.
• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS).
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, track, and deliver projects on time.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in mentoring and leading development teams.
