About the position

The iOS Developer II position involves delivering technically complex solutions and providing system integration support for various projects. The role requires collaboration with business product owners to understand project goals and offer design recommendations. The developer will be responsible for creating customized coding and software integration for iOS-based mobile applications, ensuring adherence to company standards, and maintaining security controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop customized coding and software integration for iOS-based mobile applications.
• Participate in the development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of complex solutions.
• Build non-functional monitoring capabilities and provide escalated support for applications in production.
• Implement and maintain security controls in accordance with company standards.
• Solve complex technical and operational problems and mentor less experienced teammates.
• Deliver high-quality working software in an Agile environment, engaging with the business from the design phase.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and four to seven years of experience in software engineering or equivalent education and training.
• In-depth knowledge of information systems and IT best practices.
• Understanding of key business processes related to IT functions.
• Ability to plan and manage projects and solve complex problems.
• Ability to mentor less experienced teammates and convey complex information.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and eight years of experience.
• Experience building high-quality apps or services at an enterprise level.
• Three or more years of experience in developing commercial iOS applications.
• Proficient with Xcode, Swift, and SwiftUI.
• Experience in SOAP and REST-based Web Services.
• Experience in the financial services or banking industry.
• Experience with Android application development.
• Experience with Open Source tools and frameworks.
• Proficient with git or other source code control systems.
