The iOS Developer and Lead position is a contract role based in Plano, TX, with potential locations in Jersey City, NJ, NYC, Columbus, OH, and Delaware. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in iOS development, specifically with a focus on Swift and Objective-C, and will be responsible for leading the development of innovative mobile applications. The role requires a deep understanding of the software development life cycle and the ability to create applications that meet high standards of quality and performance. Candidates should have experience in developing applications that are available on the Apple App Store, showcasing their ability to deliver functional and user-friendly software solutions. In this position, the developer will work closely with cross-functional teams, participating in Agile development practices, including daily scrums and iteration reviews. The candidate will be expected to contribute to all phases of the development process, from initial design through to deployment and maintenance. A strong emphasis will be placed on automated testing and unit testing frameworks to ensure the reliability and stability of the applications being developed. The successful candidate will also have experience with source control management and will be proficient in using Linux and Mac OS X environments. This role is ideal for a senior-level developer with at least 8 years of experience in software/application development, particularly in iOS environments.
