As an iOS Developer at Insight Global, you will work in a collaborative team environment alongside web developers and coders to develop and test a new logging application known as the Tech Ops Activity Portal (TAP app). This role requires you to be an integral part of a SAFE agile team, adhering to the SAFe agile framework methodology. Your primary responsibilities will include providing database support to integrate applications with the database system, offering field support for software applications, and troubleshooting, researching, and resolving application problems. You will also be responsible for supporting the deployment and training of the application, ensuring that users are well-equipped to utilize the software effectively. In addition to these responsibilities, you will be expected to maintain a demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App Store or the Android market. Your experience with third-party libraries and APIs will be crucial as you develop application programming interfaces (APIs) to support mobile functionality. You will need to stay updated with the latest terminology, concepts, and best practices for coding mobile apps, and work closely with colleagues to innovate app functionality and design continuously. Your role will also involve adapting existing web applications for mobile use, writing unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions, and developing new features and user interfaces from wireframe models. Ensuring the best performance and user experience of the application will be a key focus, along with fixing bugs and performance issues while writing clean, readable, and testable code. Collaboration with back-end developers, designers, and the rest of the team will be essential to deliver well-architected and high-quality solutions.
