About the position

Infosys is seeking an iOS Developer who will play a crucial role in the Software Development Life Cycle, interfacing with key stakeholders and delivering high-quality code. The position involves creating high-level design artifacts, leading validation for testing, and supporting implementation and transition activities. The role emphasizes teamwork, collaboration, and a culture of learning and diversity.

Responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Create high-level design artifacts for applications.
• Deliver high-quality code for assigned modules.
• Lead validation for all types of testing.
• Support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
• 2+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Android build systems with experience in Kotlin.
• Proficient in Android development tools and technologies, including Jetpack Compose, Room Database, Retrofit, and Firebase.
• Strong object-oriented design skills, including design patterns and data structures.
• Sound knowledge of memory management and concurrency.
• Experience building Android apps from scratch with a focus on architecture (MVP, MVVM, VIPER).
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
• Hands-on knowledge of Junit and Mockito.
