About the position

The iOS Developer will play a crucial role in the mCards mobile team, responsible for developing and maintaining a robust mobile application and multiple SDKs for corporate clients. This position emphasizes technical leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a commitment to high-quality code and product stability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a robust app for the general public and multiple client-facing SDKs in Swift.
• Take ownership of the product, architecture, and code quality of iOS projects, demonstrating technical leadership to other developers.
• Work in an agile environment, collaborating closely with backend and QA teams.
• Apply creative problem solving to interpret general instructions into optimal solutions.
• Continuously improve product quality and stability by enhancing legacy code.
• Develop, improve, and adhere to coding standards.
• Perform high quality, accurate code reviews.
• Write technical and conceptual documentation, both internal and public-facing.
• Make accurate task and project estimates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• 6+ years of iOS experience.
• Advanced in designing and implementing iOS applications using UIKit and SwiftUI.
• Proficient with modern architecture & best practices, including MVVM-C.
• Experience with SPM, iOS binary frameworks, and publishing SDKs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well individually and as part of a distributed team in different time zones.
• Ability to context switch between tasks as production issues arise or business needs change.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Android experience is a plus, but not required.
