About the position

The iOS Developer role involves developing, improving, and releasing the Sam's Club iOS App. The position requires collaboration within an agile team, including designers and product managers, to provide mobile engineering support and troubleshoot issues related to mobile devices. This is a full-time contract position based in Sunnyvale, CA, with a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve the Sam's Club iOS App.
• Participate in peer code reviews.
• Collaborate effectively within an agile setup with designers, product managers, and peer developers.
• Provide mobile engineering support to the business.
• Troubleshoot business and production issues for mobile devices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years of experience building scalable e-commerce applications or mobile software.
• Experience with mobile software development using Swift & Objective-C.
• Experience using distributed source code version control systems (Git/Github).
• Experience working within an agile development team.
• Experience with Apple SDKs for iOS development.
• Experience with software debugging techniques (debuggers, loggers, crash report tools).
• Experience with analysis of memory issues such as memory leaks using memory analyzers tools (Instruments).
• Experience with embedded real-time systems with limited resources (memory and processing).
• Experience with command line XCode build tools for Continuous Integration.
• Experience in design patterns, MVC, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience in unit and integration testing Objective-C code.
• Published iOS application is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in iOS Auto Layout, Storyboard, Blocks and GCD: 4 years (Preferred).
• Experience in architecting & solutioning mobile apps that consume: 5 years (Preferred).
• Experience in deploying iOS apps: 3 years (Preferred).
• Experience in team leadership position: 3 years (Preferred).
• Experience in deploying enterprise iOS apps via MDM: 3 years (Preferred).
• Experience in HTML5 development and JavaScript frameworks: 3 years (Preferred).
• Experience in Java centric server-side development and solutioning: 1 year (Preferred).
• Full SDLC experience as an application developer: 7 years (Preferred).
• Experience in object-oriented development: 6 years (Preferred).
