About the position

The iOS Developer position at ADT involves designing, implementing, and documenting engineering deliverables for iOS mobile applications. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers, while also ensuring the development of stable and scalable system components. The position offers a hybrid work model, requiring onsite presence three days a week and remote work for the remaining two days.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement engineering deliverables for ADT iOS mobile applications.
• Collaborate with Principal Engineers to design stable, scalable, and fault-tolerant system components.
• Mentor junior team members in all aspects of iOS development.
• Participate in requirement definition, technical architecture review, and code review.
• Provide technical design artifacts and peer-review feedback to ensure quality deliverables.
• Define engineering standards and guidelines and develop reusable frameworks.
• Create and submit one qualifying innovation disclosure per year.
• Design and implement test solutions for integrated systems.
• Automate unit or functional testing and deployment activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing iOS mobile applications.
• Proficiency in REST, Websockets, and/or GraphQL.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with home security/home automation systems.
• Experience with mobile application geolocation services.
• Strong teamwork aptitude and ability to coach and mentor engineers.
