In a landscape filled with distractions, the need for reliable information remains paramount, and we believe there is significant potential to enhance our app and boost user engagement. We are seeking an iOS Engineer to join the App Experience (AppX) team, focusing on improving the NYT app experience. This role involves collaboration with backend developers, product managers, data analysts, and design team members to create a seamless and engaging user experience. As an iOS Engineer, you will be responsible for developing new features using Swift, participating in technical discussions with backend developers, and engaging with other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects. You will also play a key role in promoting coding standards within the Swift community at The New York Times. This position is based in New York City and is a hybrid role, requiring you to come into the office approximately two days a week.
