About the position
TransCore is seeking an experienced and innovative iOS Mobile Application Developer to contribute to the development of our Smart Mobility Product Initiative. This role focuses on creating user-friendly solutions that enhance how people move and live, impacting millions globally. The developer will be responsible for building a new product from scratch, contributing to product vision and strategy, and ensuring a high-quality user experience while meeting customer needs and driving user engagement.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality iOS applications that emphasize user experience, performance, and security.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to define, build, and deliver innovative features and improvements.
- Write robust, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to best practices in software engineering.
- Coordinate and manage app releases, updates, and deployments to the App Store.
- Implement effective version control strategies using Git.
- Proactively identify, debug, and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs.
- Continuously explore and evaluate emerging technologies and advancements in iOS development.
- Create and maintain thorough documentation of development processes.
Requirements
- 6-10 years of proven experience in iOS application development with a strong portfolio of completed iOS apps.
- Advanced proficiency in Swift and Objective-C, with a solid understanding of the iOS ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with code revision and control systems, particularly Git.
- Strong knowledge of mobile app design patterns, including MVC and MVVM.
- Experience with testing frameworks and tools like XCTest, as well as CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles specific to mobile design.
