About the position

The iOS Mobile Architect will lead the design and architecture of mobile applications within the client's Technology Services team. This role focuses on developing next-generation mobile finance applications, providing guidance on mobile technology strategy, and mentoring engineers. The architect will also engage with technology leaders and business executives to present technical solutions and ensure high-quality product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of mobile applications for Retail, Retirement, and Intelligent Assistant.
• Define and present the mobile application technology strategy for the firm.
• Mentor engineers on mobile application solutions and best practices.
• Publish and present technical solutions to technology leaders and business executives.
• Architect deployments of client-facing mobile software systems.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Mobile Development Experience
• 3+ years of experience architecting and designing native app solutions for iOS
• Proficiency with Swift and experience with Swift UI and BDD
• Experience with REST, JSON, XML, and interfacing iPhone/iPad applications to server-side APIs
• Solid grasp of algorithms, memory management, and real-time communications
• Familiarity with Agile practices
• Understanding of Apple's principles and human interface guidelines
• Experience with Xcode IDE, Interface Builder, and performance tools
• Experience in developing reusable artifacts, modules, and assets.

• Experience with mobile encryption algorithms
