About the position

The iOS Mobile Developer at GenSigma LLC is responsible for developing and enhancing mobile applications specifically for public utility agencies. This role involves collaborating with various teams to improve data collection processes, integrating new features into existing applications, and providing post-deployment support. The developer will work on tasks such as implementing label scanning, capturing calibration data, and enabling employee assignment swaps, ensuring that all solutions are validated by field staff before implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current field and laboratory data collection processes and implement software enhancements.
  • Develop and integrate a label-scanning feature into the mobile application.
  • Implement functionality to capture field instrument calibration data in the mobile app.
  • Enable functionality for field staff to swap assignments on the same day without restrictions.
  • Update the field system to allow employees to request days off during scheduled sampling runs.
  • Provide technical support for up to four months after deployment.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation for functional requirements and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Identify and refactor areas of the existing codebase to improve maintainability.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of recent verifiable experience developing mobile platforms for iOS devices for public utility agencies.
  • Minimum of 3 years of written verifiable web development experience utilizing the Microsoft ASP .NET Framework.
  • Minimum of 3 years of written verifiable experience working with Oracle to SQL Server integration.
  • Minimum of 2 years of written verifiable experience integrating with ESRI GIS web-related products.
  • Minimum of 3 years of written verifiable experience working with Laboratory Information Management Systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with ESRI GIS web-related products (3 years preferred).
