About the position

The Sr. iOS Mobile Developer will join the Application Engineering team to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iPhone and iPad OS platforms. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and user-friendly mobile solutions, ensuring optimal application performance and adherence to best practices in mobile development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain mobile applications for iOS platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate and assist in the entire application lifecycle, including concept, design, development, testing, release, and maintenance.
• Debug and resolve technical issues and bugs to ensure optimal application performance.
• Perform unit testing and ensure the robustness, reliability, and performance of applications.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Implement mobile development best practices to ensure high code quality and performance.
• Adhere to security and data protection guidelines for mobile applications.

Requirements

• 6+ years experience in Native Mobile App Development.
• Experience with mobile CI/CD tools such as Fastlane, Bitrise or similar for automating builds, testing and development.
• Must have experience with Swift, SwiftUI and Xcode (Will have to pass a Xcode TEST).
• Mandatory Native iOS development, knowing cross-platform frameworks including Flutter, React Native, Android, multi-platform is a plus.
• In-depth understanding of programming languages, such as Swift, Objective C, and Swift UI.
• Write code and design systems using cross-platform IDEs such as Visual Studio, and XCode.
• Solid understanding of mobile app design patterns, such as MVC, MVP, Delegation, Singleton, Factory, MVVM pattern, Clean Architecture, Viper etc.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, JSON, and integrating third-party libraries and APIs.
• Strong experience collaborating with designers and UX experts to create great user experiences.
• Strong experience building and maintaining iOS frameworks, using Cocoa Pods/Swift Packages.
• Working Knowledge of Unit and Automated testing using Native frameworks such as XCUI.
• Familiarity with tools, such as Jenkins, Fastlane and using version control tools, including Git and GitLab.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies/challenges.
• Strong understanding of code review guidelines and best practices to ensure high-quality code and continuous improvement within the development team.

Nice-to-haves

• Good understanding of UI/UX design principles and ability to work closely with designers.
• Good knowledge of UX best practices, interactive design principles, guidelines, including current mobile accessibility standards.
• Preferred familiarity with Bluetooth, BT Profiles, Digital Key, Core Bluetooth, External accessory, OAuth 2.0 and iAP2.
• Able to work on Agile and Test-driven development.
• Familiar with agile processes, continuous integration, and working with a remote team.
• Strong communicator who collaborates well across teams.
• Familiar with App store policies for App submission.
